Ready to Burn
Ready to Burn is a scheme backed by Government, fuel suppliers and retailers to encourage home owners to only burn environmentally friendlier fuels on their fireplace or stove.
Ready to Burn Certified fuels include approved smokeless fuels, kiln dried firewood or Heat Logs and can be identifed by the logo on the right, which will be included on the product packaging or web page when making a purchase.
Ready to Burn fuels produce less smoke than house coal or wet wood when burnt, so a shift towards burning Ready to Burn certified fuels will have a positive affect on air quality. The scheme was launched in October 2017.
